Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 168 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 168 from 4,140 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on June 8.

Test positivity rate is slightly above 4%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,166,316.

The active cases are 71,016.

Of the total, 312 patients are in hospitals, 28 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 1,479 recoveries;

· 418 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 2 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 57,74% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 30 new hospitalisations, of which 73,33% had not been vaccinated.
