Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,681 new cases
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,681 from 13,697 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 26.
999 were confirmed from PCR and 682 from antigen tests.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 85; Bourgas - 53; Varna – 59; Veliko Turnovo – 40; Vidin – 7; Vratsa - 58; Gabrovo – 28; Dobrich - 34; Kardzhali - 22; Kyustendil - 45; Lovech - 21; Montana - 17; Pazardzhik - 56; Pernik - 30; Pleven – 115; Plovdiv - 150; Razgrad - 8; Rousse - 26; Silistra - 32; Sliven - 33; Smolyan – 18; Sofia district - 55; Sofia city – 499; Stara Zagora - 47; Targovishte – 4; Haskovo - 57; Shoumen - 64; Yambol - 18.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 245,627.
The active cases are 32,005.
Of the total, 4,502 patients are in hospitals, 378 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
- 800 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 203,494;
- 15,927 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 204,439;
- 49 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 10,128.
