Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 174 new cases

The newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria are 174 out of 4,835 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on September 17 shows.

The largest number of the latest cases were reported in Sofia (39); Blagoevgrad (28); Plovdiv (19).

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 18,390.

Of the total, 744 are in hospitals, 43 of them being in intensive care.

Three Covid-19 associated deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. The total of fatalities rose to 736.

The recoveries over the past 24 hours are 184.
