Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,758 new cases
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,759 from 14,023 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 27.
714 were confirmed from PCR and 1,045 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 81; Bourgas - 25; Varna - 136; Veliko Turnovo – 83; Vidin – 17; Vratsa – 37; Gabrovo – 30; Dobrich – 54; Kardzhali - 19; Kyustendil - 38; Lovech -35; Montana - 56; Pazardzhik - 61; Pernik - 25; Pleven – 38; Plovdiv - 174; Razgrad - 15; Rousse - 105; Silistra - 24; Sliven - 33; Smolyan – 27; Sofia district - 54; Sofia city – 338; Stara Zagora - 120; Targovishte - 19; Haskovo - 41; Shoumen – 49; Yambol - 25.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 399,259.
The active cases are 54,115.
Of the total, 7,669 patients are in hospitals, 724 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 4,100 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 329,043;
· 10,910 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 734,150;
· 194 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 16,101.
