Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 182 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 182 from 2,663 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 8.

106 were confirmed from PCR and 76 from antigen tests.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 223,734.

The active cases are 21,152.

Of the total, 3,126 patients are in hospitals, 278 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 60 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 193,251;
• 22 vaccinated, bringing the total vaccinations to date to 57,038;
• 20 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 9,331.
