Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,919 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,919 from 10,648 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 4.

1,269 were confirmed from PCR and 650 from antigen tests.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 352,259.

The active cases are 69,177.

Of the total, 10,521 patients are in hospitals, 758 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 3,484 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 269,575;

· 3,993 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 502,078;

· 169 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 13,507.
