Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,956 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,956 from 24,142 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on September 9.

The daily percentage of positive tests is at 8.1%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 466,671.

The active cases are 36,268.

Of the total, 4,419 patients are in hospitals, 363 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 976 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 411,068

· 12,464 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,380,022

· 65 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 19,335.
