Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 2,360 new cases, positivity rate is at 9.5%
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 2,360 from 24,719 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on September 21.
The daily percentage of positive tests is at 9.5%.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 132; Bourgas - 39; Varna - 162; Veliko Turnovo – 111; Vidin – 39; Vratsa – 35; Gabrovo – 54; Dobrich – 37; Kardzhali - 17; Kyustendil - 63; Lovech - 31; Montana - 91; Pazardzhik - 44; Pernik - 38; Pleven – 39; Plovdiv - 259; Razgrad - 40; Rousse - 81; Silistra – 43; Sliven - 49; Smolyan – 20; Sofia district - 100; Sofia city – 486; Stara Zagora - 138; Targovishte - 46; Haskovo - 61; Shoumen – 63; Yambol - 42.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 484,546.
The active cases are 39,728.
Of the total, 4,879 patients are in hospitals, 388 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 1, 228 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 424,652
· 7,555 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,471,212
· 138 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 20,166.
