Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 27 new cases out of 924 PCR tests
The newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria are 27 out of 924 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on September 14 shows.
The largest number of newly confirmed cases was reported in Sofia (11).
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 17,918.
The active cases are 4431.
Of the total, 740 are in hospitals, 53 of them being in intensive care.
A total of 12,767 people have recovered from the virus, including 9 over the past 24 hours.
Three Covid-19 associated deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. The total of fatalities rose to 720.
Three cooks from a kindergarten in the capital's Druzhba residential district have tested positive for Covid-19. Sofia Municipality told BNT on September 14, that the kindergarten is working and PCR tests will be conducted for the staff.
The food for the children will be brought from a neighbouring kindergarten.
