Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 275 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 275 from 6,114 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 19.

Test positivity rate is approximately 4,5%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,162,724.

The active cases are 88,937.

Of the total, 567 patients are in hospitals, 51 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 10,545 recoveries;

· 773 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 6 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 65,09% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 54 new hospitalisations, of which 70,37% had not been vaccinated.
