Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 277 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 277 from 1,899 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 5, 2023.

Test positivity rate is 14,587%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the pandemic are 1,315,440.

The active cases are 3,601.

Of the total, 356 patients are in hospitals, 27 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 146 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 1,273,364

• 3,158 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, 4,625,696;

• 5 Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 38,475;

Of the daily cases, 55,60% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 80,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 55 new hospitalisations, of which 67,27% had not been vaccinated.
