Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 284 new cases, 205 recoveries, 13 deaths
The newly registered cases of COVID-19 are 284 out of 6 395 PCR tests made in the last 24 hours. These are the official data released by the National Information Centre for the coronavirus at midnight on 30 August.
There are 722 patients in hospital, including 37 - in intensive units. Two hundred and five people recovered while 13 lost the battle with the illness.
Daniela Daritkova, leader of the ruling party faction, announced Thursday that Bulgaria would bid for a vaccine against COVID-19 side by side with the rest of EU member states.
