Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 3,138 new cases, 92,360 active, 159 deaths
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 3,138 from 8,478 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on December 3.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 196; Bourgas - 242; Varna – 266; Veliko Turnovo - 11; Vidin – 18; Vratsa - 55; Gabrovo – 78; Dobrich - 43; Kardzhali - 28; Kyustendil - 59; Lovech - 23; Montana - 42; Pazardzhik - 106; Pernik - 55; Pleven - 81; Plovdiv - 337; Razgrad - 21; Rousse - 144; Silistra - 38; Sliven - 117; Smolyan – 33; Sofia district - 95; Sofia city – 624; Stara Zagora - 187; Targovishte - 23; Haskovo - 76; Shoumen - 56; Yambol - 84.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 151,913.
The active cases are 92,360.
Of the total, 6,635 patients are in hospitals, 523 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the 24-hour period are 2,206.The total recoveries are 55,206.
159 Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, thus bringing the death toll to 4,347.
