Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 316 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 316 from 6,917 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 26.

Test positivity rate is 4,5%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,164,122.

The active cases are 80,263.

Of the total, 456 patients are in hospitals, 38 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 2,158 recoveries;

· 750 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 6 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 66,14% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 66,67% had not been vaccinated.

There were 62 new hospitalisations, of which 77,42% had not been vaccinated.
