Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 3,280 new cases, 1,935 recoveries, 156 deaths
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 3,280 from 9,082 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on December 4.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 116; Bourgas - 378; Varna – 359; Veliko Turnovo - 201; Vidin – 22; Vratsa - 59; Gabrovo – 69; Dobrich - 40; Kardzhali - 11; Kyustendil - 25; Lovech - 43; Montana - 36; Pazardzhik - 118; Pernik - 47; Pleven - 96; Plovdiv - 321; Razgrad - 27; Rousse - 124; Silistra - 42; Sliven - 98; Smolyan – 22; Sofia district - 85; Sofia city – 550; Stara Zagora - 162; Targovishte - 20; Haskovo - 76; Shoumen - 65; Yambol - 68.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 155,193.
The active cases are 93,549.
Of the total, 6,766 patients are in hospitals, 523 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the 24-hour period are 1,935.The total recoveries are 57,141.
A total of 6,624 medical professionals have tested positive for Covid-19, including 205 new cases overnight (72 doctors; 76 nurses; 20 healthcare assistants; 3 paramedics; 34 other medical staff).
156 Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, thus bringing the death toll to 4,503.
