Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 3,341 new cases
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 3,341 from 21,984 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on February 24.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,080,571.
The active cases are 229,935.
Of the total, 4,712 patients are in hospitals, 537 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 8,490 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 815,338
· 4,452 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 4,287,041.
· 53 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 35,298.
Of the daily cases, 74.20% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 94,34% had not been vaccinated.
There were 426 new hospitalisations, of which 83.33% had not been vaccinated.
So far, 2,041,189 people have been fully vaccinated. 679,787 have been given a booster dose.
