Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 337 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 337 from 2,369 tests, including PCR and rapid antigen tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on December 29.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 198,053.

The active cases are 78,319.

Of the total, 5,511 patients are in hospitals, 504 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 1,475 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 112,483;

· 87 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 7,251
