Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 349 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 349 from 4,532 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on January 31.

222 cases were confirmed from PCR and 127 from antigen tests.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 218,618.

The active cases are 23,987.

Of the total, 2,866 patients are in hospitals, 263 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 1,354 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 185,603;
• 215 vaccinated, bringing the total vaccinations to date to 41,020;
• 20 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 9,028.
