Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 3,502 new cases
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 3,502 from 17,193 tests, data published on the National Information Portal shows on March 10.
2,332 were confirmed from PCR and 1,170 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 126; Bourgas - 441; Varna – 272; Veliko Turnovo – 70; Vidin – 16; Vratsa - 114; Gabrovo – 50; Dobrich - 37; Kardzhali - 27; Kyustendil - 49; Lovech - 35; Montana - 49; Pazardzhik - 87; Pernik - 64; Pleven – 142; Plovdiv - 217; Razgrad - 8; Rousse - 72; Silistra - 52; Sliven - 99; Smolyan – 50; Sofia district - 147; Sofia city – 882; Stara Zagora - 145; Targovishte – 7; Haskovo - 102; Shoumen – 79; Yambol - 63.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 266,805.
The active cases are 38,385.
Of the total, 6,017 patients are in hospitals, 497 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
- 3,403 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 217,518;
- 8,019 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 302,151;
- 138 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 10,902.
