Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 355 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 355 from 1,496 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on August 15.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,226,419.

The active cases are 19,734.

Of the total, 1,036 patients are in hospitals, 55 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 215 recoveries;

• 45 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 2 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 75.21% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100% had not been vaccinated.

There were 14 new hospitalisations, of which 71,43% had not been vaccinated.
