Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 3,694 new cases
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 3,694 from 18,502 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 2.
2,301 were confirmed from PCR and 1,393 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 152; Bourgas - 251; Varna - 352; Veliko Turnovo – 70; Vidin – 41; Vratsa - 90; Gabrovo – 32; Dobrich – 101; Kardzhali - 60; Kyustendil - 43; Lovech - 73; Montana - 51; Pazardzhik - 103; Pernik - 75; Pleven – 89; Plovdiv - 281; Razgrad - 14; Rousse - 136; Silistra - 58; Sliven - 79; Smolyan – 44; Sofia district - 153; Sofia city – 942; Stara Zagora - 141; Targovishte - 46; Haskovo - 88; Shoumen – 92; Yambol - 37.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 346,327.
The active cases are 70,919.
Of the total, 10,152 patients are in hospitals, 747 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 2,534 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 262,095;
· 13,559 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 486,002;
· 116 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 13,313.
