Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 4,054 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 4,054 from 13,203 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on November 5.

The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:

Blagoevgrad - 188; Bourgas - 141; Varna - 204; Veliko Turnovo - 91; Vidin – 25; Vratsa - 121; Gabrovo - 90; Dobrich - 24; Kardzhali - 37; Kyustendil - 66; Lovech - 78; Montana - 81; Pazardzhik - 71; Pernik - 65; Pleven - 85; Plovdiv - 310; Razgrad - 54; Rousse - 141; Silistra - 53; Sliven - 86; Smolyan - 30; Sofia district - 98; Sofia city - 1,477; Stara Zagora - 205; Targovishte - 54; Haskovo - 61; Shoumen - 74; Yambol - 44.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 64,591.

The active cases are 41,178.

Large hospitals will convert sites to accomodate Covid-19 patients.

Of the total, 3,191 patients are in hospitals, 239 of them being in intensive care.

The recoveries over the 24-hour period are 403. The total recoveries are 21,947.

54 Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, thus bringing the death toll to 1,466.
