Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 4,201 new cases
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 4,201 from 17,652 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on March 18.
2,655 were confirmed from PCR and 1,546 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 134; Bourgas - 291; Varna - 305; Veliko Turnovo – 88; Vidin – 30; Vratsa - 122; Gabrovo – 62; Dobrich - 105; Kardzhali - 51; Kyustendil - 87; Lovech - 74; Montana - 69; Pazardzhik - 95; Pernik - 106; Pleven – 149; Plovdiv - 263; Razgrad - 36; Rousse - 124; Silistra - 112; Sliven - 91; Smolyan – 57; Sofia district - 167; Sofia city – 1,097; Stara Zagora - 157; Targovishte - 22; Haskovo - 113; Shoumen – 123; Yambol - 71.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 291,769.
The active cases are 49,597.
Of the total, 7,804 patients are in hospitals, 609 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
- 1,641 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 230,457;
- 4,708 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 350,702;
- 136 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 11,715.
