Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 455 new cases
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 455 from 7,674 tests (including 273 confirmed from PCR and 182 from antigen tests), data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on January 22.
This means that the positivity rate is 6% of all tested.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 9; Bourgas - 44; Varna – 21; Veliko Turnovo - 6; Vidin – 4; Vratsa - 13; Gabrovo – 1; Dobrich - --; Kardzhali - 10; Kyustendil - 22; Lovech - 6; Montana - 2; Pazardzhik - 30; Pernik - 3; Pleven - 28; Plovdiv - 45; Razgrad - 4; Rousse - 15; Silistra - 5; Sliven - 16; Smolyan – 2; Sofia district - 12; Sofia city – 105; Stara Zagora - 20; Targovishte – 4; Haskovo - 10; Shoumen - 13; Yambol - 5.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 213,864.
The active cases are 27,769.
Of the total, 3,045 patients are in hospitals, 297 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
- 2,256 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 177,354;
- 1,124 vaccinated, bringing the total vaccinations to date to 25,251
- 90 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 8,741.
