Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 4,662 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 4,662 from 39,333 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on November 5.

Test positivity rate is at 11.9%

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 623,946.

The active cases are 108,741.

Of the total, 8,372 patients are in hospitals, 710 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 3,703 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 490,450

· 20,776 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,893,502

· 166 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 24,755.

Of the daily cases, 86.10% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 93.36% had not been vaccinated.

There were 996 new hospitalisations, of which 89.16% had not been vaccinated.

*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination with 2 shots.
