Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 482 new cases; 24,127 vaccinated
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 482 from 8,057 tests (including 302 confirmed from PCR and 180 from antigen tests), data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on January 21.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 13; Bourgas - 15; Varna – 24; Veliko Turnovo - 11; Vidin – 4; Vratsa - 20; Gabrovo – 4; Dobrich - 7; Kardzhali - 5; Kyustendil - 13; Lovech - 4; Montana - 9; Pazardzhik - 27; Pernik - 11; Pleven - 21; Plovdiv - 48; Razgrad - 4; Rousse - 15; Silistra - 9; Sliven - 24; Smolyan – 4; Sofia district - 18; Sofia city – 106; Stara Zagora - 14; Targovishte – 3; Haskovo - 33; Shoumen - 14; Yambol - 2.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 213,409.
The active cases are 29,660.
Of the total, 3,220 patients are in hospitals, 327 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
- 4,600 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 175,098;
- 1,901 vaccinated, bringing the total vaccinations to date to 24,127
- 37 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 8,651.
