Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 493 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 493 from 5,733 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 7.

322 were confirmed from PCR and 171 from antigen tests.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 223,552.

The active cases are 21,050.

Of the total, 3,133 patients are in hospitals, 281 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 161 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 193,191;
• 156 vaccinated, bringing the total vaccinations to date to 57,016;
• 9 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 9,311.
