Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 5,286 new cases, record daily death toll of 334
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 5,286 from 48,136 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on November 9.
Test positivity rate is at 11%.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 638,048.
The active cases are 114,301.
Of the total, 8,516 patients are in hospitals, 723 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 3,496 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 498,339
· 13,290 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 2,978,843
· 334 Covid-19 related deaths, thus the death toll to date is 25,408.
Of the daily cases, 85.70% had not been vaccinated.
Of those who died, 94.31% had not been vaccinated.
There were 1,411 new hospitalisations, of which 89.09% had not been vaccinated.
*Those considered to be vaccinated had completed the course of vaccination with 2 shots.
