Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 560 new cases
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 560 from 12,297 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on January 29.
337 were confirmed from PCR and 223 from antigen tests.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 35; Bourgas - 32; Varna – 20; Veliko Turnovo – 13; Vidin – 4; Vratsa - 14; Gabrovo – 4; Dobrich - -; Kardzhali - 14; Kyustendil - 18; Lovech - 8; Montana -2; Pazardzhik - 21; Pernik - 13; Pleven - 22; Plovdiv - 52; Razgrad - 7; Rousse - 16; Silistra - 9; Sliven - 25; Smolyan – 3; Sofia district - 14; Sofia city – 162; Stara Zagora - 16; Targovishte – 1; Haskovo - 17; Shoumen - 11; Yambol - 7.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 217,574.
The active cases are 25,676.
Of the total, 2,877 patients are in hospitals, 257 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
- 1,303 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 182,925;
- 4,719 vaccinated, bringing the total vaccinations to date to 37,636;
- 29 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 8,973.
