Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 57 new cases

The newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria are 57 out of 1220 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on September 8 shows.

The largest number of newly confirmed cases was reported in the following districts: Sofia – 12 and Blagoevgrad – 14.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 17,146.

Of the total, 773 are in hospitals, 53 of them being in intensive care.

One Covid-19 associated death was reported in the past 24 hours.

The recoveries over the past 24 hours are 32.
