Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 721 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 721 from 5,585 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 6.

Test positivity rate is 13%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,262,945.

The active cases are 9,815.

Of the total, 625 patients are in hospitals, 47 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 576 recoveries;

• 1,582 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 4 Covid-19 related deaths.
