Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 740 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 740 from 4,129 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on April 5.

336 were confirmed from PCR and 404 from antigen tests.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 352,999.

The active cases are 68,977.

Of the total, 10,649 patients are in hospitals, 747 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 858 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 270,433;

· 1,492 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 503,570;

· 82 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 13,589.
