Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 883 new cases
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 883 from 10,541 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 5.
536 were confirmed from PCR and 347 from antigen tests.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 45; Bourgas - 63; Varna – 37; Veliko Turnovo – 17; Vidin – 6; Vratsa - 36; Gabrovo – 6; Dobrich - 4; Kardzhali - 12; Kyustendil - 44; Lovech - 12; Montana - 11; Pazardzhik - 40; Pernik - 17; Pleven - 31; Plovdiv - 67; Razgrad - 6; Rousse - 27; Silistra - 8; Sliven - 33; Smolyan – 4; Sofia district - 23; Sofia city – 226; Stara Zagora - 28; Targovishte – -; Haskovo - 37; Shoumen - 22; Yambol - 21.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 222,149.
The active cases are 20,545.
Of the total, 3,033 patients are in hospitals, 277 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
- 780 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 192,332;
- 3,901 vaccinated, bringing the total vaccinations to date to 54,025;
- 54 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 9,272.
