Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 885 new cases, test positivity rate is 15%

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 885 from 5,858 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 13.

Test positivity rate is 15%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,268,035.

The active cases are 10,709.

Of the total, 688 patients are in hospitals, 46 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 671 recoveries;

• 1,692 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 7 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 55,37% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 71,43% had not been vaccinated.

There were 92 new hospitalisations, of which 76,09% had not been vaccinated.
