Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 903 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 903 from 5,771 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on August 26.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,238,531.

The active cases are 12,673.

Of the total, 919 patients are in hospitals, 52 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 962 recoveries;

• 1,998 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 8 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 68,11% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 62,50% had not been vaccinated.

There were 137 new hospitalisations, of which 76,64% had not been vaccinated.
