Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 910 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 910 from 12,463 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 6.

518 were confirmed from PCR and 392 from antigen tests.

The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:

Blagoevgrad - 45; Bourgas - 113; Varna – 43; Veliko Turnovo – 19; Vidin – 12; Vratsa - 35; Gabrovo – 8; Dobrich - 9; Kardzhali - 16; Kyustendil - 25; Lovech - 7; Montana - 10; Pazardzhik - 29; Pernik - 10; Pleven - 40; Plovdiv - 79; Razgrad - 3; Rousse - 23; Silistra - 6; Sliven - 28; Smolyan – 8; Sofia district - 23; Sofia city – 206; Stara Zagora - 26; Targovishte – -; Haskovo - 37; Shoumen - 26; Yambol - 24.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 223,059.

The active cases are 20,727.

Of the total, 3,070 patients are in hospitals, 276 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

  • 698 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 193,030;
  • 2,835 vaccinated, bringing the total vaccinations to date to 56,860;
  • 30 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 9,302.
