Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 913 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 913 from 10,164 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 11.

546 were confirmed from PCR and 367 from antigen tests.

The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:

Blagoevgrad - 41; Bourgas - 24; Varna – 43; Veliko Turnovo – 17; Vidin – 5; Vratsa - 37; Gabrovo – 13; Dobrich - 8; Kardzhali - 7; Kyustendil - 32; Lovech - 8; Montana - 4; Pazardzhik - 49; Pernik - 17; Pleven - 30; Plovdiv - 94; Razgrad - 7; Rousse - 22; Silistra - 11; Sliven - 32; Smolyan – 4; Sofia district - 30; Sofia city – 260; Stara Zagora - 30; Targovishte – -; Haskovo - 33; Shoumen - 40; Yambol - 15.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 226,974.

The active cases are 22,236

Of the total, 3,230 patients are in hospitals, 273 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

  • 697 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 195,211;
  • 3,735 vaccinated, bringing the total vaccinations to date to 66,163;
  • 45 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 9,527.
