Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 96 new cases, total lab-confirmed cases reached 17,050

The newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria are 96 out of 3358 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on September 6 shows.

The largest number of newly confirmed cases was reported in the following districts: Sofia – 13 and Blagoevgrad -14.

The active cases are 4247.

Of the total, 755 are in hospitals, 57 of them being in intensive care.

Six Covid-19 associated deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. The total of fatalities rose to 671.

The recoveries over the past 24 hours are 86. The total recoveries rose to 12,132.
