Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 967 new cases
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 967 from 11,452 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 3.
604 were confirmed from PCR and 363 from antigen tests.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 33; Bourgas - 75; Varna – 45; Veliko Turnovo – 22; Vidin – 3; Vratsa - 39; Gabrovo – 12; Dobrich - 5; Kardzhali - 15; Kyustendil - 41; Lovech - 16; Montana - 7; Pazardzhik - 40; Pernik - 24; Pleven - 62; Plovdiv - 82; Razgrad - 4; Rousse - 25; Silistra - 12; Sliven - 44; Smolyan – 5; Sofia district - 31; Sofia city – 208; Stara Zagora - 41; Targovishte – 8; Haskovo - 29; Shoumen - 26; Yambol - 13.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 220,547.
The active cases are 20,885
Of the total, 2,901 patients are in hospitals, 279 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
- 1,512 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 190,484;
- 32 medical professionals tested positive for the virus, bringing the total to date to 9,559;
- 3,283 vaccinated, bringing the total vaccinations to date to 45,917;
- 36 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 9,178.
