Coronavirus in Bulgaria: Daily cases rise to 3,004
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 3,004 from 16,876 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on March 6.
1,838 were confirmed from PCR and 1,165 from antigen tests.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 106; Bourgas - 428; Varna – 136; Veliko Turnovo – 83; Vidin – 16; Vratsa - 88; Gabrovo – 33; Dobrich - 33; Kardzhali - 18; Kyustendil - 61; Lovech - 36; Montana - 46; Pazardzhik - 76; Pernik - 51; Pleven – 141; Plovdiv - 208; Razgrad - 19; Rousse - 63; Silistra - 35; Sliven - 92; Smolyan – 36; Sofia district - 85; Sofia city – 734; Stara Zagora - 121; Targovishte – 8; Haskovo - 99; Shoumen - 93; Yambol - 59.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 258,385.
The active cases are 35,896.
Of the total, 5,463 patients are in hospitals, 437 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
- 1,280 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 211,918;
- 15,920 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 284,464;
- 65 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 10,571.
