Coronavrus in Bulgaria: 577 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 577 from 4.782 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on October 28.

Test positivity rate is 12,1%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,277,342.

The active cases are 10,017.

Of the total, 717 patients are in hospitals, 54 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 601 recoveries;

• 1,586 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 4 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 60,14% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 75,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 82 new hospitalisations, of which 58,54% had not been vaccinated.
