Counterfeit euro banknotes detected in Haskovo

Counterfeit euro banknotes have been detected in Haskovo, police say on October 9.

Yesterday at noon a croupier from a local casino reported that while counting his turnover he found 4 counterfeit 500 euro notes.

Police officers have clarified that the counterfeit money was given by a 26-year-old female casino visitor.

The woman is known to law enforcement and was detained for 24 hours.
