Covid-19: Bulgaria extends anti-epidemic measures to November 2
By order of Bulgaria’s caretaker Minister of Health on October 26, anti-epidemic measures in the country are extended until 2 November.
The requirement to wear a protective face mask in hospitals and nursing homes remains in effect, with an exception for children up to 6 years of age.
All persons who are not members of the same family/household should keep a physical distance of 1.5 m when in crowded open-air public places.
All employers, appointing authorities and management of higher education establishments must arrange for regular ventilation and disinfection, and must not allow persons with acute respiratory illnesses (fever, headache, runny nose, cough, breathing difficulties, etc.) to enter workplaces or higher education establishments. Where possible, employees may work remotely or there may be variable working hours or shift work.
All individuals or legal entities in charge of public, commercial or other establishments providing services to members of the public must organise their activities in such a way as to ensure that a distance of at least 1.5 m is maintained between the persons to whom the relevant services are provided on the premises and adjacent outdoor areas, to provide hand sanitizer at the entrance to the premises, and to prominently display information signs or otherwise inform service users about the requirement to keep physical distance.
Persons providing administrative and other services to citizens should use the means of information and communication technologies and, where possible, to provide relevant services in an electronic environment.
A daily screening should be conducted in nursing homes.
