Covid-19 in Bulgaria: Shopping malls, fitness centres, cinemas and art schools re-open as of February 1
The state of epidemic emergency in Bulgaria has been extended until April 30. The anti-epidemic measures are gradually eased.
As of February 1, shopping malls, fitness centres, cinemas and dancing schools will re-open under certain restrictions.
Fitness centres are required to use 50% of their capacity.
In shopping malls, minors are allowed to visit only if they are accompanies by adults.
Cinemas and dancing schools are allowed to operate at 30% of their indoor capacity.
Restaurants and cafes will re-open a month later, from March 1, and will be required to operate at 50% of their capacity. Night clubs will remain closed.
Wearing of protective face masks in indoor public places and in the public transport is obligatory, as well in outdoor public places if there is crowding.
Face shields, scarfs or other face coverings different from face masks are banned.
