Day 107 of protests in Sofia

The protest on October 23 passed without incidents.

The demands of the demonstrators remain unchanged: resignation of the government and the Prosecutor General, Ivan Geshev; machine and electronic voting

Shortly before 20:00, traffic on Tsar Osvoboditel boulevard was blocked by the lorry carrying the sound equipment of the protesters.

One of the most discussed topics among the protesters this evening was the resignation of the head of the Bulgarian National Radio. They believe it was adequate, because he did not agree with the envisaged changes to the media law. The protesters supported him.

As on previous nights, about 21:00, the protesters walked on procession to Eagles’ Bridge.
