DIRECTOR OF EUROPOL ON A VISIT TO BULGARIA

The Director of Europol, Rob Wainright, met with Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov on 31st of March.

Rob Wainright said he was impredded by the country’s efforts and progress in the fight against corruption and human trafficking.

The two discussed deepening cooperation between Bulgaria and Europol amid growing challenges in the area of security; fight against terrorism and people smuggling.

The Europol Director is on a visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of Bulgaria’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Rumyana Bachvarova.
