District Heating in Sofia will be turned off gradually as of April 29

Sofia District Heating company starts to gradually turn off the heating in Sofia from April 29.

Users will be further informed by the heat accountant companies serving them about the reporting schedules. In this regard, Toplofikacia Sofia EAD calls on its customers within the reporting period to provide access to all homes, including apartments in which the radiators are not used or removed.

For the clients, whose heat accountant is Toplofikacia Sofia EAD, the reading of the measuring devices will start from May 10. The check and the report of all devices and of the water metres for hot water will enable the heat accountants to prepare the balancing accounts correctly and on time, without having to be repeatedly processed due to later reports in individual dwellings.

All customers are entitled to two dates for free-of-charge reading of devices by heat accountants. If they are not able to provide access to the home on these dates, customers can contact their heat accountant and request an additional date for an individual report, which is paid according to the price list of the relevant heat accountancy company.
