First snow of the season fell in lower areas of the country

The first snow for the year fell in the lower areas of the country in the evening on November 11. This happened in the settlements in Western Bulgaria.

Snow cover has already formed on the passes in the Bakan Mountain Range. Heavy snow also fell in Radomir, Pernik, Vladaia and Kostinbrod.

Code yellow weather alert for expected snowfall has been issued in 13 of Bulgaria's 28 administrative districts for tomorrow, November 12.
