The registration of parties and coalitions for the European Parliament elections with the Central Election Commission (CEC) started on Thursday 3rd April. GERB, the former ruling power, was the first to register and the Reformist Bloc registered their documents second.
The main focus of the pre-election campaign of the Reformist Bloc, a group of right-wing and centrists parties, will be high incomes, energy and political independence of Bulgaria.
14th April is the deadline for registration of the political parties with CEC. The pre-election campaign will officially start on 25th April.
In Bulgaria the 2014 European Parliament elections will be held on 25th May.
