Helicopter battles large wildfire raging near the village of Starosel

Large wildfire is raging in a pine forest near the village of Starosel, Hisarya region, Southern Bulgaria.

Six houses have burned, 10 people have been evacuated.

The fire has engulfed more than 1,000 decares of dry grass and vineyards. It is spreading to the nearest village and Buntovna hut.

Fire-fighters are battling the blaze. Ministry of Defence announced that a Cougar helicopter is involved in the firefighting efforts.
